About the Training
About This Course:
This 4-hour course covers essential safety procedures and guidelines for the safe use of general-use antibacterials, antimicrobials, sanitizers, fungicides, disinfectants, and pesticides as part of occupational duties, in accordance with federal regulations. Participants will learn proper handling, storage, and disposal of these agents, along with practices to protect human health and the environment. Topics include pesticide safety, labeling and storage requirements, application techniques, and personal protective equipment (PPE). The program concludes with an examination that must be passed to receive certification.
Note:
Please be advised that the cost of the training and examination is $150.00. The BT-A card, issued upon passing the exam, costs an additional $15.00, payable separately to Treasurer of Guam, c/o Guam EPA.
