About the Training

About This Course:

In accordance with the Guam Food Code, food retail facilities that serve high-risk populations—such as preschool-aged children—are required to develop and implement a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) plan. This plan must be reviewed and approved before food can be served to these vulnerable groups to ensure the highest standards of food safety. This 16-hour course is designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the essential components of a HACCP plan and how to develop one that meets the stringent requirements set forth by the Guam Food Code.


During the training, participants will learn the key principles of HACCP, including conducting hazard analysis, identifying critical control points, establishing critical limits, and monitoring and verification procedures.
